How Tapout works

The two currencies, where they come from, what they are for, and what the rules are. Every figure here is read from the live economy, so it matches what you see in the app.

Tapout Gold (TG)

Tapout Gold is the play currency. It is what you spend on Roulette spins and everything in the Treasury. It is not money and it never becomes money directly.

How you get it

  • 5,000 TG when you create your account.
  • Roulette — most segments pay Tapout Gold, and your rank gives you free spins every day.
  • Reaching a new Royalty rank pays a one-off level-up bonus.

What it is for

  • Roulette spins, at 100 TG each.
  • Roulette spins, from the Treasury.
  • Crown Draw tickets, from the Treasury.
  • Renown XP, from the Treasury.
  • Prize Credits, which convert Tapout Gold into Sweep Coins.

Why you want it

Tapout Gold is the only way into the Treasury and Roulette, and Prize Credits are the one route from Gold back to a cash balance.

Worth knowing

  • You cannot buy Tapout Gold with money.
  • You cannot withdraw Tapout Gold.
  • Converting Gold to Sweep Coins runs at 1,000 TG per 1 SC and is limited by play-through — see the Treasury card.
How the Treasury works

Sweep Coins (SC)

Sweep Coins are your cash balance. 1 SC is $1. This is the balance you add to when you deposit and the balance you draw from when you cash out.

How you get it

  • Adding funds in the cashier.
  • Converting Tapout Gold through Treasury Prize Credits.
  • Winning a Crown Draw prize.
  • Referral bonuses, once approved.

What it is for

  • Loading a game to play.
  • Cashing out, once play-through is met.

Why you want it

Sweep Coins are the balance that can leave the platform as money.

Worth knowing

  • Play-through: money you add has to be loaded onto a game once before it can be withdrawn, and a bonus has to be loaded 3 times its value. Until you have loaded that much, cashing out is blocked.
  • Cashing out starts at $5.
  • Cash out is capped at $1,000 per day.
How cashing out works

Roulette

Roulette is the wheel. Every pull costs one spin, and pays Tapout Gold, Renown XP, a free re-roll, or a Crown Draw ticket. Some segments pay nothing.

How you get it

  • One pull costs one spin. No Tapout Gold is taken for the pull itself.
  • Free spins every day by rank: Peasant 1, Knight 1, Prince 2, King 3, Emperor 4.
  • Free daily spins are always used before spins you bought.
  • Out of spins? Buy more in the Treasury, on the Spins tab — one spin is 100 TG.
  • Landing a Free Spin re-rolls on the house and does not cost another spin.

What it is for

  • Tapout Gold, which is the most common outcome.
  • Renown XP, which climbs your Royalty rank.
  • A Crown Draw ticket.

Why you want it

Roulette is the only wheel, it is one of only two ways to get a Crown Draw ticket, and the XP it pays is the fastest route up the rank ladder — pulling earns more XP per Gold than buying XP outright ever does. Your free daily spins make it the one thing on the platform you can play without spending anything.

Worth knowing

  • 22.86% of pulls land on a segment that pays nothing.
  • Roulette never pays Sweep Coins.
  • There is no cooldown and no daily cap — the only limit is how many spins you have.
  • The odds below are the same for every player. Your rank changes how many free spins you get, not what you are likely to win.

Crown Draw

A monthly prize draw with a $1,000 pool shared between 3 winners. Entry is by ticket.

How you get it

  • Buy tickets with Tapout Gold in the Treasury — larger packs cost less per ticket.
  • Land the Ticket segment on Roulette.

What it is for

  • Prizes are paid to your Sweep Coin balance: $500, $300, $200.
  • They are cashable — no play-through to clear first.

Why you want it

It is the largest single payout on the platform, the whole $1,000 is paid out every month however many people enter, and unlike most credits it is cashable straight away.

Worth knowing

  • Every ticket is one entry, so holding more tickets raises your chance proportionally.
  • One prize per player. Winners are drawn without replacement, so you cannot take two places.
  • The draw closes at the start of each month, and prizes are paid out shortly after.
  • The full $1,000 is always paid. If fewer than 3 people enter, the pool is shared out between whoever did, in the same order — it is never held back.
  • Crown Draw winnings carry no play-through. You bought your way in with Gold that was already played through, so the prize is yours to withdraw.

The Treasury

The Treasury is where Tapout Gold gets spent. It has four counters, and each one sells a different thing.

How you get it

  • Prize Credits — convert Tapout Gold into Sweep Coins at 1,000 TG per 1 SC.
  • Roulette spins — from 100 TG for 1, down to 72 TG each in the 50 pack.
  • Crown Draw tickets — from 500 TG for 1, down to 360 TG each in the 50 pack.
  • Renown XP — from 500 TG for 500, down to 1 TG each in the 150000 pack.

What it is for

  • Prize Credits are the route from play currency to cash balance.
  • Roulette spins are how you play the wheel; Crown Draw tickets are the route to the monthly prize.
  • Renown XP climbs your Royalty rank — the second path up the ladder, alongside deposits.

Why you want it

Everything you can do with Tapout Gold other than spin Roulette happens here — including buying Renown XP, which is the only way to rank up without depositing.

Worth knowing

  • Buying XP is the expensive way up. Roulette pays more XP per Gold than any pack, so if you are going to spend the Gold anyway, spinning gets you there faster. Among the packs themselves the bigger ones are better value per Gold.
  • Prize Credits have play-through headroom. Gold you spend on wheel spins, Crown Draw tickets, Renown or perks builds headroom; Gold you convert to Sweep Coins uses it up. You can only convert as much as you have built.
  • Renown XP still has no cash value and cannot be converted back — it buys rank, not money.
  • Sweep Coins bought with Prize Credits are a bonus credit, so they carry a play-through obligation before they can be withdrawn.

Royalty ranks

Your rank has two paths: what you have deposited over the lifetime of the account, and the Renown XP you have earned playing. You hold whichever of the two is higher — never the lower.

How you get it

  • Deposits: your lifetime total, which never decreases.
  • Renown XP: earned from Roulette XP segments, or bought in the Treasury.
  • You hold the higher of the two, so playing can rank you up without depositing at all.
  • Reaching a new rank pays a one-off level-up bonus in Tapout Gold — once per rank, whichever path got you there.

What it is for

  • A higher daily-bonus multiplier.
  • More free Roulette spins each day.

Why you want it

Higher ranks pay a larger level-up bonus and grant more free Roulette spins each day — and because XP counts, you can climb by playing rather than only by depositing.

Worth knowing

  • Ranks decay. Go 30 days without a deposit and you drop one rank; Emperor gets 45 days. A deposit restores you to the rank your lifetime total has earned.
  • The daily cash-out cap is $1,000 and is the same at every rank.
  • Rank does not change the Roulette odds — only how many free spins you get.
  • The two paths are read independently — you never need both. Meeting either threshold is enough.

Referrals

Invite someone with your link and you earn 50% of their first qualifying deposit.

How you get it

  • Share your referral link from Refer & Earn.
  • They have to sign up through your link — it cannot be attached afterwards.
  • You earn 50% of their first qualifying deposit.

What it is for

  • The bonus is paid as Sweep Coins, once approved.

Why you want it

50% of a first deposit is the highest-rate bonus on the platform, up to $250.

Worth knowing

  • Capped at $250 per referral.
  • There is a 24 hour hold before the bonus can be paid.
  • After the hold, it is reviewed by an admin before it is credited. It is not automatic.
  • It pays on the first qualifying deposit only, not on later ones.
  • Referring yourself, or someone in your household, does not count and can get both accounts blocked.
What Sweep Coins are

Adding funds

Adding funds converts money into Sweep Coins at 1 SC per $1. The minimum is $10.

How you get it

  • Minimum $10 per deposit.
  • A 5% fee is added on top of what you asked for.
  • The fee is credited back to you as bonus credit, so a $10 deposit still credits $10 of playable balance.

What it is for

  • Loading a game.
  • Cashing out, once play-through is met.

Why you want it

Deposits are what set your Royalty rank, and the first one is what makes a referral bonus payable.

Worth knowing

  • You can add up to $1,000 per day.
  • The 5% fee is charged on top, so the card is charged more than the amount you typed.
  • Everything you deposit carries play-through before it can be withdrawn.

Cashing out

Cashing out sends Sweep Coins back out as money, starting at $5.

How you get it

  • Minimum $5 per cash out.
  • Up to $1,000 per day.
  • A 2% fee comes out of the amount you cash out.

What it is for

  • Paid to the payout address on your account.

Why you want it

It is how the balance becomes money you actually hold.

Worth knowing

  • Play-through first. Money you deposited has to be loaded onto a game once. A bonus has to be loaded 3 times its value — so a $100 deposit plus a $50 bonus needs $250 loaded before any of it can be withdrawn.
  • The 2% fee is deducted from the payout, not added on top.
  • On the automatic crypto rail the 2% fee is credited back as bonus credit once the payout settles — which means it arrives carrying play-through of its own.
  • The daily cap is $1,000 and is the same at every rank.
